I also think that it's important that we've been good at articulating why we like something, or why something works. This is much more useful than, "I like it." Taking the time to explain what we like about it is useful to the creator because they can then assess whether their work hit the mark they were aiming for.
When it comes to critical friends for this next round I want more of the same. When things work; I want them to tell me why they work, and when things fall flat, I would like an analysis of why it isn't working and ideally a suggestion on how to make it better.
